So we've all heard the news but can I just say, it's about time there was a prominent female pictured on American currency and while it won't be circulated for a few years I couldn't be more proud that Harriet Tubman, the famed abolitionist is the woman that will be on the new 20 dollar bill.
I'm sure many of you feel the exact same way and now that we are all excited about having a female on a major us currency bill and that yet another new milestone for women has been reached (we continue to break this glass ceiling), I wonder if we are setting new milestones for our individual selves. So let me ask you, does knowing a woman will soon grace the $20 bill motivate you to want to do even better with your finances?
Harriet Tubman represents a woman who accomplished so much. She was born a slave but led hundreds to freedom through the underground railroad and spent her lifetime helping others. She was determined, she was courageous and she had some serious faith. Faith that she would not fail.
"Harriet Tubman was determined, courageous and she had some serious faith"
How convinced are you that you can succeed with your finances?
Are you prepared to do what it takes to turn your financial situation around? Pay debt? build an emergency fund? save money?
How strong is your faith?
Let's celebrate this great milestone for all women and let's set our own personal milestones that we can accomplish to get us to greater heights too.
